TARGET Summer 2015 Beauty Box Review

What it Is:  A seasonal box featuring a variety of make-up/beauty products that Target sells.

Cost:  $7 + tax ($7.53 total) - (free shipping)

Details:  A one-time purchase made thru the Target website.  (They sell out fast, so you have to purchase it pretty much on the day it's offered).

This box ships via USPS and fits in the mailbox.

From what I've read, the hair product and nail polish colors vary.  Everything else is consistent amongst the boxes.

The Products:
1.  Olay Regenerist Luminous HydraSwirl Eye Cream - FULL SIZE - RV $23
2.  Revlon HD Lipstick in "Gladiolus" - FULL SIZE - RV $7.99
3.  SinfulColors Professional Nail Color in "Boom Boom" - FULL SIZE - RV $1.99
4.  Cutex Advanced Revival Nail Polish Remover Pads - (Set of 3) - RV $1.20
5.  Fekkai Professional Hair Care Brilliant Glossing Styling Creme - (2 oz) - RV $8

RETAIL VALUE =  $42.18

A closer look:

Olay Regenerist Luminous HydraSwirl Eye Cream - FULL SIZE - RV $23

This product says it's for dark circle correcting.  I'm fortunate enough not to have that issue, but I figure any eye cream is going to be beneficial to use as I'm getting older.  This product goes on smooth and has a hint of highlighting tint (I'm assuming to combat the dark circles) in it.  I use Olay moisturizer daily and am happy to try another Olay product!

Revlon HD Lipstick in "Gladiolus" - FULL SIZE - RV $7.99

I've been more into glosses than lipsticks lately, but this color is so pretty that I tried it right away (and wore it to work today).  The red is a warm red (with maybe a hint of orange tinge to it).  It's right on trend and is definitely an eye-catching shade!  This formula goes on smooth and stays really well.  There's a coupon included in the box for $1.00 off your next shade (when purchased at Target) that shows all 20 shades.  I might check the other colors out the next time I'm at Target and use the coupon since I like this formula.

SinfulColors Professional Nail Color in "Boom Boom" - FULL SIZE - RV $1.99

This is one of the items in the box where the colors sent out varied from box to box.  (The shade shown in the photo add for this box was a blue color).  I'm so happy with the shade I received!  I just got a hot pink pedicure over the weekend and didn't have a polish that would work for touch-ups (if I needed one).  This shade will definitely work for that!  Can't wait to paint my nails with this shade too!

Cutex Advanced Revival Nail Polish Remover Pads - (Set of 3) - RV $1.20

It's fitting that since Target included a nail polish in this box, they'd also include polish remover pads.  I've never tried this brand before, but am excited to try it!  I love the portable remover pads too!  They're perfect to throw in my purse or to travel with!  Will definitely use these!

Fekkai Professional Hair Care Brilliant Glossing Styling Creme - (2 oz) - RV $8

This product has olive oil in it and says it smooths and shines.  It's actually really close to a product my husband uses daily, so I decided to give it to him to test out.  (After all, men like presents too).  I can tell you that it smells wonderful (like citrus)!

VERDICT:  This is the first Target Beauty Box I've purchased and I'm really happy with it!  It's really affordable and I loved everything they sent!  I paid $7.53 for this box (with tax) and received $42.18 worth of merchandise, which is a good deal in my book!  Target also included a $3 off coupon to be used on any beauty purchase of $15 or more which can be used thru the end of the month.  Can't wait to see what their next beauty box contains!

What do you think?  Have you ordered any of the Target beauty boxes before?

XOXO,
Stephanie

  1. I think this was maybe my 3rd Target Beauty Box, and I'm very happy with it! (I'll be posting my own review shortly!) I love the nail color you got - mine is a light blue, which is also pretty (I'm wearing it right now), but I love a warm pink for summertime :o)

  2. I bet the light blue is pretty! The website says these are "seasonal" boxes. Do they come out quarterly? This was the first one I've purchased and I loved it. Can't wait for the next one to come out!

    1. I feel like they've been more of an annual thing, but maybe they are summer and winter?
