BIRCHBOX May 2015 Subscription Box Review

What it Is:  A monthly beauty subscription box featuring a variety of make-up/beauty products

Cost:  $10/month (free shipping)

Details:  Subscribers complete a beauty profile.  Based off your profile, Birchbox sends you 5 sample-size (and some full-sized) products each month.

The May 2015 box was curated with Cupcakes and Cashmere.  The box alone is so cute!  

A little note card was included which gave a little bit more info on this month's theme.

Lumiere d'hiver Super Comb Prep & Protect Leave-In Conditioner (30mL/1.0 fl oz) - RV $4.80 
I don't currently use a leave-in conditioner, but would like to for when I wash/blow-dry my hair.  I will test this out soon and let you know how it was.  

Naobay Oxygenating Moisturizing Cream (20mL/.67 fl oz) - RV $14.40
The first thing I did when I opened my box yesterday was give myself a facial.  This was the perfect finishing step!  This moisturizer went on smoothly and has a great citrus-y scent!  I like that it's natural and organic too!  It's a little pricey for every day use for me, but I'll definitely use this sample up!

Marcelle Clay Mask (15 mL/.55 oz) - RV $2.23
This mask claims to leave skin brighter and clearer and I can honestly say, it did do just that after just one application.  It was easy to apply and dried clear.  It rinsed off easily with warm water too!  A great second step for my evening facial.

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette Sampler (Desert Bloom) - RV $2.00 (estimated) 
I absolutely love all the colors in this palette sampler!  Can't wait to wear these to work tomorrow!  The entire full-sized palette has 20 different shadows in it and I think I'm going to end up buying it.  It's a cooler-toned palette, which goes with my skin tone perfectly!

Vasanti "Brighten Up" Exfoliating Cleanser (20g) - RV $5.67
Another great sample!  This was the first step in my mini evening facial tonight.  It contains micro-beads and lathers up really well.  (Just a little dab will do the trick).  This sample size will last me a while and might just become part of my cleansing routine.

VERDICT:  Birchbox hit it out of the park on this box!  I loved everything they sent and will definitely use it all.  I had a coupon code, so I paid $5 for $29.10 worth of merchandise, which is a good deal in my book.
