Bed, Bath, and Beyond you Dirty Little Minx!!

Since I recently began cooking on a semi-regular basis (AKA - when the subscription boxes arrive with recipes in them), I decided there were a few gizmos I could benefit from buying.  And, since Bed, Bath, and Beyond is right around the corner and I literally have 40-50 coupons from them (I get them in the mail and magazines all the time), I decided I deserved a few little treats.  Here's a peek at my loot:

I went into the store looking for a garlic press, some spatulas (you can never have enough of those), and some new cookie sheets.  I walked out with those items and a few more.

I should've taken a photo of their walls of gizmos.  You name it, they had it!  (Along with drones of engaged couples with scanners doing their bridal registeries who were intruding on my scavenger hunt I might add).  They had everything that is except for a basic garlic press.  Couldn't find one to save me!  Instead, they had this little mincer contraption that rolls along on legs while the blades mince the garlic.  It literally looks like a cooking toy.  OK, cool!  Let's make this fun!  :)  In my cart you go!!

Next I found this fabulous little omelet flipper.  Buying that was a no brainer considering I LOVE omelets on Sundays!!  The clear part is really bendy so you can flip your omelet over without breaking it open.  Why didn't I think to invent this??!

I came across a mortar and pestle too, which of course I needed (not really, but in my head I did).  I saw one of these in a Hampton's Lane box and was instantly fascinated by it!  I actually just used the pestle part last night to mash up an avocado.

And then there's the items I actually went in to buy.  My well-loved pans on the left were actually ones I received as bridal shower presents seven years ago.  It was definitely time for some new ones!

Bed, Bath, and Beyond just might be my second "happy place".  (I am truly my father's daughter b/c Lowe's will always be my #1.  I could spend hours wondering around that place looking at contraptions).

What are your favorite cooking tools/contraptions?  Anything on your wish list?  (I'm thinking a hand-held juicer is going to be my next purchase).

XOXO,
Stephanie
